Les hérauts peuvent être utilisés conjointement avec n’importe quel Grand Ancien (bien qu'ils soient souvent beaucoup plus dangereux avec un Grand Ancien particulier) et ils modifient le jeu d'une manière similaire au Grand Ancien. Pendant l'installation, la feuille de héraut est placée à la gauche de la feuille du Grand Ancien utilisé.
